This Disability Mentoring Day event is unique to San Diego and has been admired by other cities coordinating their own DMD. The event is kicked off by the San Diego Zoo's Associate Director, Bob Dillon, and Operations Supervisor, Amy Adams. They will talk about the wide range of career opportunities offered there. Mentees will then interact with various animals before boarding shuttles for our park tour. As we travel through the park, Zoo employees will periodically board the shuttle to tell mentees about their career path. These employees will be chosen based on what career interests mentees specify on their application.
